There is no word that I can use to emphasize just how amazing the iPhone is. Apple iPhone are at the forefront of stylistic innovation and although they receive constant criticism about the usability of the iPod touch, there’s no denying that they still look damn good. With the iPod touch they made a sleek and stylish iPod that all your friends would envy, and you could prance about your campus or place of business looking like the cool guy from the American teen movies. The tragic thing about that image was that no matter how cool the iPod touch made you look, because you had spent all your money on it, you were subjected to the embarassment of pulling out a horrid looking mobile phone whenever one of your admiring friends wanted to call you.(ipod touch)

Apple iPhone noticed the problem and took actions to save heaps of crushed teenage’s image. They were the saviour of the vain and introduced to the American teenager on June 29, 2007, and then to UK, France and Germany in November 2007, and finally to Ireland and Austria in the spring of 2008. They were so crazy about the shiny new Apple iPhones and the numerous iPhone apps they had downloaded to it. At that time, I could only be envious of their happiness because they didn’t launch on China and of course the expense was higher enough.
On July 11, 2008, Apple released the iPhone 3G in twenty-two countries, including the original six. Apple has since released the iPhone 3G in upwards of eighty countries and territories. Apple announced the iPhone 3GS on June 8, 2009, along with plans to release it later in June, July, and August, starting with the U.S., Canada and major European countries on June 19. Many would-be users have objected to the iPhone’s cost. and 40% of users have household incomes over 100,000 USD. In an attempt to gain a wider market, Apple has retained the 8 GB iPhone 3G at a lower price point. This is the latest of several price reductions since the iPhone’s release in 2007; it now sells for one-sixth of the price of the original 8 GB iPhone when it first became available. In the U.S., it now costs $99, down from $599, although it requires a two-year contract and a SIM lock.
And in this winter vacation, I finally got one through a friend studying in UK. Let me tell you that since owning it I have felt more confident. Bright lights and shiny things really do work and owning this magnificent contraption has changed my life. The gadget itself is a mobile phone and an iPod made into a fantastic hybrid which brings all the excellent assets we have come to see as common in a mobile phone and the common assets of an iPod. The main features before you go download crazy of the applications are a Camera, SMS messaging with an instant messenger feel, your contacts list (obviously), the phone (again, obviously), the music and video capabilities (obviously), YouTube, Stock checker, Weather app, calendar, clock, calculator, iTunes, Apps Store, email and internet browser. There are so many excellent things that make you feel good, The apps you can download for your iPhone are numerous and plentiful; some seem utterly pointless and some are utter genius and extremely useful. The apps I have on the front page are Wikipedia, Dictionary and BBC News app.
The aesthetics of the product are basic yet imaginative; simple yet effective and just downright sexy. The screen is a bit of a pain as it’s easily marked and scratched so make sure your hands are clean when using it. The layout of the apps is very simple, but depending on the app can get quite complicated when entering into them, but of course that is down to the app creators discretion. It is pretty and I know that anyone would be proud of owning it, I’ve never had a problem with usage in regards to signal or general hardware usage so it’s definitely one of the more worthwhile treasures I have owned in a while.
