LG is going to launch its most powerful Android phone yet aimed at already available big screen rivals from HTC, Motorola and Samsung. The South Korean company will launch the Optimus Series, a family of smartphones that’ll fight for smartphone market full of giants like HTC EVO, Droid X and Samsung Galaxy S.
According the LG’s press release the statement from the company’s ceo reads:
“The LG Optimus Series is aimed at challenging the notion that one device can meet the needs of many,” said Dr. Skott Ahn, President and CEO of LG Electronics Mobile Communications Company. “At LG, we believe in providing people with many different choices because our customers are not all alike. We want to provide devices that suit all needs and simplify people’s lives.”
The Optimus Series will include two large screen Android phones: the Optimus One, and Optimus Chic. Company has note yet released any specs for either the Optimus One or Optimus Chic, but they will both be running Android 2.2 Froyo.
