When I opened my gmail account today, I find a new service available there – Google Buzz. For gmail users, they 
can share messages, links and photos in their gmail account.
Also, Google said that it will release cellphone version for Google Buzz and combine Buzz with other Google services.
The newly buzz service provided by Google shares the same features as other social network service provider, like twitter and facebook. Users use more time on twitter and facebook rather than on Google.
According to a research by ComScore, Gmail is one of the hottest email services. The independent visit to gmail reaches to 176.5 million while that for Windows Live Hotmail and Yahoo mail service are 368.2 billion and 3037.2 billion independently.
This is not the first time for Google to develop the social network service market. In 2004, it issued social website Orkut. However, Orkut only occupy some oversea market as Brazil. In America, twitter and facebook are still the most popular one.

Personally I think that Google Buzz’s release was a little too early, especially the privacy concerns. I also think that Google’s most likely going down the same path that Windows experienced around the era of Windows ME. The latest products and products seem to be less planned and I also feel that rushed to attempt to be a first to market, and compete with its competitors releases. The breach of privacy was was a problem that didn’t require a rocket scientist to figrue out, a very simple review session could have shown such issues. Do you think Google may have received too much credit last year?

i think that Goggle gives Buzz only because it doesn’t want to miss the step as twitter and facebook gain great popularity among people. no matter how much Google share during social network, it shares. and the main market for Google is still the search engine
