Genetically Modified Corn May Harm Liver and Kidney?

Due to a report given by Monsanto, one of the world biggest provisioners, eating genetically modified corn may harm one’s liver and kidneys in different degrees. However, no approval is given by any office apartment or toxicologist.

Founding in 1901, Monsanto is one of the four biggest provisioners in the world, as well as a notorious economic pirate. Monsanto did researches on the toxicity monitoring on genetically modified corn long time ago. However, it refused to make the report public. And recently, under the pressure of Greenpeace Groups, it opened.

The research lasts for three months and during the three months, rats are feed with genetically modified corn and then their bodies are checked. The researchers said that they found hormone and other compound in unusual degrees and the research result shows that the livers and kidneys of the rats are poisoned.corn

The three kinds of corn that put into researches are MON810, MON863, and NK603. The former two varieties have a strong resistibility against maize borer while the third variety did well in against glyphosate. All of these three kinds of corn are grown in America and MON810 is grown in Europe as well, especially in Spain.

As to the opinion of Monsanto, it denies the harmfulness of the genetically modified corn to human beings. And no official approval is given. However, the report is power enough to make 6 countries in Europe to stop the plant of corn MON810.
